So I got out of bed, picked a dubiously clean outfit off of the floor, went downstairs. The first few hours of the day passed without any great excitement.
Then the results for the AP exam came in. I have been worrying about these scores since I began the stupid classes, and the terror has only been mounting since then.
I opened them. I got fives on BOTH. (!!!) And I was so sure I failed them. SO SURE. And I didn't.
Also, interesting sidenote: it says on the Oxford website the American students applying for entrance should have certain things that they've done: I think at least a 32 on ACT (I got a a 30 on PACT, so I'm not terribly worried about that), and like a 2,200 on SAT. BUT ALSO two fives on AP exams. HAHAHAHA. I already HAVE two fives (I mean, obviously I'm going to try to get fives on the ten other AP classes I'm going to take, but still.
So that was very exciting.
And THEN I checked the blog of an author that I like who wrote one of my favorite teen novels to see if she'd posted the winners of a contest she did to win an ARC of a book that's about to come out, and I WON (!!!). So I get an ARC. Hooray!
This is a very exciting day.
